What Happens When You Call
When you call the benefit help line, you’ll first hear a message directing you to seek medical care in the event of a medical emergency. You may press “1” to bypass this recorded message and to be immediately connected with a Benefits Resource Center (BRC) insurance professional.
What will the representative need?
Be prepared to discuss your issue by having available:
- Any relevant paperwork or documentation you may have received
- The contact name and phone number of providers or others related to your question or issue
- Your basic contact information and insurance plan member number
- Your explanation of what you need to have done in order to reach a satisfactory resolution
